Originally from Punjab’s Muktsar, Goldy Brar moved to Canada in 2017 on a student visa. Over time, he escalated his criminal activities, orchestrating hits on adversaries and extorting money from high-net-worth individuals. His nefarious deeds catapulted him to the 15th spot on Canada’s most wanted list in May of the previous year.

Rise to Prominence

Despite having no major criminal cases against him upon his arrival in Canada, Goldy Brar took over the operations of incarcerated gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. He allegedly ran contract killing and extortion networks in India from his Canadian base, with over 50 cases of murder, attempted murder, and extortion pending against him.

International Attention and Movement

In 2022, Interpol issued a notice against Goldy Brar, prompting reports of his relocation to the United States. His notoriety grew after claiming responsibility for the murder of Sidhu Moose Wala, a revelation detailed in a substantial chargesheet in the Moose Wala murder case.

Goldy Brar faces accusations of murdering Faridkot Youth Congress leader Gurlal Singh Bhullar, purportedly in retaliation for the killing of his cousin Gurlal Brar. Additionally, he is implicated in the killing of an accused individual in the 2015 Bargari sacrilege case.
